SAGE Greenfingers received a Small Grant to purchase fishing equipment and held an extremely successful fishing trip for members and volunteers. Fishing is an ideal alternative to gardening at times when there are not enough tasks to keep members occupied on the allotment. Fishing is therapeutic and improves concentration skills.
The fishing equipment is available to local groups to borrow at no cost.
