A New Violin

Local resident Katrina Love received a grant towards a full size violin so that she can continue her music studies to Grade 8 and beyond. Katrina plays as part of a large orchestra at the Bannerdale Centre as well as in her local school, a local church and in nursing homes. The Small Grants Project is delighted to support Katrina in the development of her musical ability, both for her own benefit and that of the community of Burngreave.
