        A team for Burngreave who deal with any complaint no matter who your landlord is. The team can refer you for mediation or take legal action if needed.

        An innovative partnership project between BNDfC and Sheffield City Council’s Employment Unit, whose main aim is to give the people of Burngreave the opportunity to get the skills, qualifications and work experience they need to gain employment.

        Burngreave Men's Activity and Conversation Club has been et up to encourage men whose first languse is not English to make friends and improve their English skills.

        Allowing Burngreave New Deal to get its message across to the community and listen to concerns from the community through funding public meetings, publications, and a dedicated Communications Officer.

        Funding the costs of the New Deal shop on Spital Hill and two workers to answer residents' concerns about New Deal and provide other advice and signposting.

        Project contracted to manage the Burngreave Community Learning Campaign. This is a project that provides people with basic skills and educational development in the Burngreave Community and includes the training and personal development of Learning Assistants from the area.

        Project delivering free book packs and advice for families with young children (5 and under) on book sharing, plus a wide range of family learning courses and events.

        Provides free, culturally appropriate advocacy service. Advocates can help you by acting on your behalf, making phone calls, explaining your letters, writing letters for you, accompanying you when necessary and sign-posting you to other services.

        Subsidised childcare places at three local childcare providers, for parents and carers needing respite and entering training.

        Burngreave Children's Centre (formerly known as Sure Start Burngreave and Fir Vale) aims to improve the health and well-being of families of children before and from birth.

        A team of local learning assistants supporting residents to improve literacy and recruiting and supporting adults to participate in learning, while undertaking training to improve their own skills and increase their long term employment prospects. This project has been extended for another four years.

        Having gained a five-year broadcasting licence, Burngreave Community Radio is holding roadshow-style meetings so residents can get involved in any aspects of this community radio’s development.

        Promoting emotional well being and stress management. This project will be particularly aimed at Yemeni men and Pakistani women as there is no other service of this kind for these communities.

        Delivering packages of support to families and children in the Burngreave New Deal area who need a little extra help.
