Burngreave Opportunities and JobNet@Burngreave, a one stop shop for jobs and training, has been set up to help the residents of the Burngreave ward move into sustainable employment. The centre offers advice on how to access employment as well as funding training and employment opportunities.
The project is able to offer a range of services and support which will be tailored to meet the needs of individuals, these include:
Help writing a CV
Information, Advice and Guidance on job and training opportunities.
Funding towards training
Small grants available to help overcome barriers to work
Aftercare support / mentoring to help you stay in employment
General pre-employment support such as interview practice, confidence building and advice on how to complete application forms.
Job matching service
Work experience opportunities
Access to jobsearch resources
