Joanne Roney is the Executive Director of Neighbourhoods at Sheffield City Council.
Joanne joined Sheffield City Council in October 1999. She was previously Director of Housing at Kirklees and before that worked for Birmingham City Council and for two Housing Associations.
Following delivery of substantial changes to Council services, including the creation of a £600m Limited Liability Partnership with Kier to deliver construction and building services and Sheffield Homes ALMO to improve housing services for Council tenants, she is now Executive Director for Neighbourhoods and Community Care which includes responsibility for housing market strategy and investment, neighbourhood regneeration, local Area Panels and Adult Community Care Services.
