About the Priority Areas

The BNDfC Partnership Board have identified four Priority Areas which split the regeneration effort into specialist areas of concentration:

  • Community Strength & Wellbeing

  • Children & Young People

  • Employment & Skills

  • Physical Environment & Safety

Each priority area formulates and deploys strategies whereby projects and organisations, which will benefit Burngreave, are funded and managed. BNDfC Regeneration Managers are responsible for managing their own Priority Area and ensuring that projects are developed and delivered in line with the strategy. Managers are also responsible for managing the budgets identified in the Delivery Plan for their individual Priority Areas, ensuring they deliver value for money. Priority Area Regeneration Managers, the Community Engagement Team and the Communication Manager all have a role in continuously engaging the community in the work of the Priority Areas.

To ensure everyone can contribute to the development and delivery of the programme, the Priority Area structure is split into Residents' Forums, Strategy Groups and Implementation Groups.
