The third annual Burngreave Business Awards were presented on March 14th 2007 and were, once again, hailed by all those who attended as a great success.
There were seven categories in this years awards and even more businesses were nominated.

Business Directory Launch

We believe that promoting a successful business community is essential to the regeneration of Burngreave.
Creating Enterprise Supporting Business is a joint initiative between Burngreave New Deal for Communities and Business in the Community to help and support existing businesses, encourage new starts and be the first point of contact for inward investment in the Burngreave New Deal area.
Our aim is to both encourage new business in the area and help existing businesses achieve greater success.
So what are we doing about it?

We have prepared a business directory which is a valuable tool for finding what you need in the local area.
The Burngreave Business Forum, which is supported by the Supporting Business project, has been established to represent the interests of businesses in the area. The Forum has become a powerful voice and can influence local issues which affect the business community as a whole or which only affect an individual businesses. The Forum produces a quarterly business newsletter, Burngreave in Business, which is distributed throughout the area and can also be downloaded from this website.
A draft report has been prepared to evaluate phase one of the Business Support Project. The report is available to download as a pdf file and we would welcome any comments.
