Grimesthorpe Planning Applications
In this month's issues we reported on the pending Public Inquiry on decisions to refuse outline planning permission for part of Grimesthorpe Road, at the top of Smithies Field.
At the same time the developer, Redwall, has put in a further outline planning application which covers the same area. The application is due to be considered by the Council's Planning Board in July. You can find out more about this application and submit a comment on the Council's planning website.
A few mistakes
Despite all our hard work on the June issue, we still managed to make a few mistakes…

The photo for Monte Carlo Pizza was of the wrong cafe! The photo we included was of Wickernet. But here are some of the Monte Carlo to put the matter straight.
Learners Celebrate Success
While many learners had their achievements acknowledge at the Learning Festival on 20th May, we got the credit wrong for the those providing food on the day. Laila Wragg and her students from the Middle Eastern Healthy Eating and cooking course, put in hours of preparation which led to a fantastic spread of food for the performers, the Lord Mayor and special guests, and the Burngreave Community Learning Campaign staff, who were organising the event.
Kelvin Media Project
Kelvin Media Project (KMP) helped us out with a photo of Ellesmere Youth Project, which was taken as part of their work with the Streetworx project. We managed to get the credit wrong, it should be
