The Project seeks to address the gap in achivement between BNDfC children and the city as a whole at primary school and in transition to secondary school in two ways:
Through a Family Advocacy Service targeted at vulnerable primary school children and their familities to provide long term support to overcome any barriers, at home or at school, to learning and achievement
By providing additional school activities, including support for extended school work that builds on the previous projects and allows schools a flexible but clearly defined response to challenges and barriers to learning.
