Welcome to the BNDfC website, we hope is that you find the information you are seeking on our site. As regular visitors to the site will notice BNDfC is changing as we approach the end of the programme and move towards the succession body. This journey has been longer than originally envisaged and has taken us more time and effort than we thought it would. However the process is moving forwards and we hope to be able to obtain our Charitable status soon and this will bring us closer to our goal of providing benefits to the community.
In terms of our assets we have been successful in securing a new partner at Vestry Hall. Launchpad, who work with adults with learning difficulties are using the Hall as a base for their training and social sessions as well as using the office to control their social enterprises to provide revenue for their projects. They are also opening the long-awaited community café in Vestry Hall so feel free to call in and use the Hall. This has made Vestry Hall a vibrant place with a lot of new faces and opportunities.
As part of our move forward we have taken a new initiative in marketing and you will see some new boards around the area shortly, outlining the accommodation we have to offer. All our available premises are shown as links on this website and we have two new ones to offer:
99 -103 Spital Hill, a shop and office
Harleston Street, our old Head Office, which is now available to let.
With BNDfC whilst we approach the end of the programme we are still working to achieve the goals that we set out 9 years ago and the former BOPPS team are working to secure new contracts linked into employability to help our community obtain the jobs it requires, even in these difficult times. BOPPS engagement figures are amongst the highest in South Yorkshire.
